This position is onsite 4 days a week in Pleasanton, CA- Thursday remote.
International experience with India, UK and Canada preferred.

The Senior Accountat will lead key components of the accounting cycle including complex reconciliations, month-end close activities, and financial reporting. This role plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, while supporting audits and process improvements across the finance function.

Responsibilities

→Prepares and reviews journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for complex balance sheet and income statement accounts.
→Leads portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
→Supports preparation of financial statements and variance analysis for management reporting.
→Assists in the development and enforcement of accounting policies and internal controls.
→Coordinates with auditors during internal and external audit processes and provides required documentation.
→Partners cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and other teams to ensure proper accounting treatment and data flow.

Requirements

4–6 years of progressive accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or progress toward certification preferred
Deep knowledge of US GAAP and internal control principles
Strong command of operational accounting.
Experience with ERP systems NetSuite is highly preferred (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP) and financial reporting tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with cash accounting, fixed assets, operational accounting and payroll accounting with close management and reconciliations.

The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.  In addition to the compensation listed, this position may be eligible for equity compensation, and/or a bonus or commission whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual or company performance. Pleasanton HQ Base Pay Range

$100,000—$150,000 USD
