We are looking for a data-driven and customer-obsessed Product Engagement Specialist to join our Product Solutions Marketing team. In this role, you’ll own the strategy and execution of in-app engagement initiatives using Pendo to drive user activation, product adoption, and long-term retention. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, UX, Engineering, and Customer teams to shape a best-in-class user experience through analytics, segmentation, and targeted in-app messaging.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Define, implement, and manage tagging strategies and analytics frameworks in Pendo to measure user behavior, feature adoption, and product engagement.
- →Build and maintain real-time dashboards to surface insights for key stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Partner Success, and Leadership.
- →Design, deploy, and optimize in-app experiences including onboarding flows, walkthroughs, tooltips, and announcements that enhance user understanding and value realization.
- →Partner cross-functionally with Product Managers, Product Marketing, UX Designers, and Engineers to embed Pendo analytics into the product development lifecycle.
- →Conduct regular audits of tags and guides to ensure data accuracy and maintain high usability standards.
- →Establish and maintain governance standards, documentation, and best practices for Pendo usage across the organization.
- →Support segmentation, targeting strategies, and A/B testing to deliver personalized user experiences and measure impact.
- →Translate behavioral data and customer insights into actionable recommendations to improve product usability and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
~1 min read- 4+ years of experience in product engagement, digital adoption, or customer success roles using platforms like Pendo, WalkMe, Appcues, or Gainsight PX.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and user behavior analytics, preferably in a B2B or enterprise setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority across Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams.
- Familiarity with behavioral segmentation, user journey mapping, and digital experimentation (e.g., A/B testing).
- Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to turn complex data into compelling, actionable insights.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or other product collaboration platforms.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript is a plus.
Requirements

- Familiarity with customer lifecycle metrics and KPIs (e.g., activation rate, time to value, retention).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing large sets of tags, segments, and guides.
