Facilities Support Associate 2, Dickson

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for the full-time position of Facilities Support Associate 2 at the Dickson Campus.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in custodial/janitorial and/or grounds-keeping experience.
• Knowledge of the safe use of chemicals and equipment and how to maintain a safe working environment.
• Knowledge of the material and equipment used in custodial/janitorial tasks.
• Ability to safely operate tractors, commercial mowers, gas-powered trimmers, edgers, and other equipment used for groundskeeping.
• Mature attitude and dependability required.

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
• Ability to use tools and equipment to perform tasks related to custodial/janitorial duties.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• General computer skills required.
• Valid Tennessee driver license.
• Ability to operate forklift equipment a plus.

• Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Walking or standing continually; be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use body members, (arms, hands, fingers) tools, or special devices to work, move, guide, or place objects.
• Requires mental and visual attention to detail.
