Position: Assembly Fitter

Hours: Monday: Thursday 7.30-4.30 and Friday 7.30-12.30

Location: Terex Farlough

We are hiring for a Assembly Fitter, who will be working a team environment manufacturing Custom Plants and Crushing Equipment.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Assembly line fitting
• Use of power and manual tooling
• Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
• Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
• Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts
• Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
• Safe and controlled movement of production parts
• Ability to work within a team environment and able to use own initiative
• Complying with current and future Health & Safety laws, processes and procedures
• Following Standard Work procedures.
• Any other reasonable duty as instructed

Essential 

• Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills
• Fitting Experience
• Knowledge of H & S procedures & responsibilities.

 Desirable

 Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
