EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - FACILITIES AND SECURITY

JOB PURPOSE Reporting to the Commissioner Corporate Services, the purpose of this role is to develop and implement facility management plans and policies to optimize the functionality of organisational space. This will be achieved through the provision of strategic oversight and leadership on the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement strategies for effective facility management. Ensure the implementation of robust security protocols and procedures. Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements. Manage facility-related budgets and resources efficiently. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures. Coordinate with external vendors for facility maintenance and security services. Provide leadership and mentorship to facility and security teams. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address facility-related needs. Prepare and present reports on facility and security performance and initiatives. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in facility and security operations. Deploy systems of managing BURS assets and manage all infrastructure projects and the roadmap outlining the priority projects Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE A Master's Degree in Engineering, Project Management , Security Management, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in facilities, project management and security management, with at least 5 years in a management capacity.
