Sr. Credit Analyst

Supports the commercial lending team through financial and credit analysis and underwriting processes by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting all types of credit information on existing and prospective clients and portfolios. Makes recommendations and supports decisions regarding the extension of credit for diverse loan types. Prepares credit presentations to Relationship Managers and committees for use in making credit decisions on new, renewal and extension loans. Monitors customer accounts and loan portfolios to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential loss. Supports the analytical processes involved in determining board reporting; regulatory reporting; credit portfolio stress testing; internal and external loan review; and financial auditing.

• →Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance with a strong basis in financial accounting.
• →A minimum of five (5) years of experience in credit and underwriting.
• →Advanced knowledge of financial statements.
• →Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex financial information and identify relevant risks.
• →Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• →Able to function in a high attention to detail, deadline-oriented environment.
• →Ability to work on multiple transactions simultaneously and prioritized assignments to meet deadlines.
• →Basic knowledge of credit administration, policy, and procedures.
• →Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• →Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
• →Sit at a desk and computer terminal for extended time periods.
• →Typical work hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
