CNC Operator

• →Prepare machines by cleaning out chip conveyors during material or job changeovers. Load required cutting tools, holders, and inserts onto turrets/spindles, ensuring proper coolant line direction and clearance.
• →Inspect first-run components using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, thread gauges, and Go/No-Go gauges) against blueprint specifications.
• →Complete initial piece inspections and obtain the required second-signature verification before releasing the cell to production operators.
• →Immediately isolate non-conforming materials and collaborate with operators to identify root causes for out-of-tolerance dimensions.
• →Ensure setup and tooling carts contain all necessary fixtures, gauges, process sheets, and instructions prior to initiating setup.
• →Review existing manufacturing process sheets for accuracy and proactively report discrepancies or necessary revisions to engineering.

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills. Previous experience as a CNC Setup Operator is required.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and blueprints, editing G-code/Mazatrol programs, and utilizing a wide range of precision measuring devices.
• Strong familiarity with Fanuc and Mazak/Mazatrol controls is highly preferred.
• A dedicated, detail-oriented team player and self-starter who takes pride in producing high-quality work, maintaining a safe environment, and driving team success.
• Ability to stand for the full duration of the shift.
• Ability to safely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.

Note: Steel-toe shoes are required for this position.
