Gersh's 2026 Fall Externship Program is now accepting applications through September 8, 2026, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

Gersh is seeking motivated college students, passionate about the entertainment industry, to join our 2026 Fall Externship Program. The Gersh Externship is an exclusive and unique opportunity for a select group of students from across the nation to gain firsthand exposure to discover the world of an Agency and working at Gersh. This is a highly interactive and remote program over Zoom where you will learn from Gersh leadership, agents, and assistants across multiple disciplines which may include: Talent, Motion Picture & TV Literary, Digital, Below the Line, Theatre, Books, Voice, Film Finance, Global Branding and Conventions, Personal Appearances, Comedy, Alternative, and Sports.

  • October 6, 2026 - November 12, 2026
• Duration:
  • 6 weeks
• Schedule:
  • 2 sessions per week
  • Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00pm - 4:00pm PST
  • 60 minutes per session
  • Remote via Zoom

• The externship is unpaid, as this is a strictly learning and networking opportunity.
• There is no cost for students to participate in this remote program.
• Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program.
• Experience Gersh culture.
• Become a part of Gersh's networking pipeline.

• Must be an active student (undergrad preferred) attending a college/university in the United States.
• Interested in pursuing a career in entertainment and representation.
• Prior experience in media and entertainment.
• Industry internship experience preferred but not required.

• Week 1: Tuesday 10/6 & Thursday 10/8
• Week 2: Tuesday 10/13 & Thursday 10/15
• Week 3: Tuesday 10/20 & Thursday 10/22
• Week 4: Tuesday 10/27 & Thursday 10/29
• Week 5: Tuesday 11/3 & Thursday 11/5
• Week 6: Tuesday 11/10 & Thursday 11/12

• Application Deadline:
  • Submit all application materials by Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT.
• Interviews:
  • Selected applicants will be invited to a First-Round Virtual Interview with a member of the Recruitment Team in mid-September.
  • Finalists will be invited to a Second-Round Virtual Interview with the Recruitment Team in late September.
• Final Selections:
  • Selected Externs will be notified of their acceptance by October 2, 2026.
• Program Start Date:
  • October 6, 2026
