Security Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and monitor the implementation of DP world - Sokhna regulations and security policies.

• Report discrepancies and violations of all orders to The Security Manager.

• Respond to The Emergency Action Plan as needed.

• Train and mentor all officers under his command and assists them to understand the importance of actions.

• Select and place officers at outstanding posts and prepares their day-off and vacations schedule.

• Make the shift briefing and physically inspect each officer to ensure their uniforms and equipment are serviceable before placing them on a post. 

• Ensure that safe operating and maintenance procedures related to job activities are followed and consults with employees about compliance with safe working procedures, as necessary.

• Comply with QHSE requirements & safe workplace practices when performing duties with due concern for all other persons.

• Ensure observance of safety rules, regulations, and practices.

• Monitor The Access Control and other Technical Security Systems and report malfunctions to the SSS section.

• Secure all the equipment issued under his control, i.e., vehicles, communications, computers, telephones, etc. Verifies that all equipment is in serviceable condition. Ensure that all radios are functioning and can communicate with each other on the correct frequencies. Reports any discrepancies and provides a work order or options for repair.

• Manage daily patrolling on security officers to ensure the security instructions are applied

• Draw security plan in case of crises and other events

• Archive all security officers’ personal files included data, penalties, and evaluation

• Draw security patrolling vehicles plan and ensure the implementation as planned 

• Coordinate with security outsource company for security officers needed and operation

• Conduct security interviews for new security officers’ vacancies

• Evaluate all security Sr. supervisor’s security performance every 3 months Continuous monitoring with the team and facilitate, solve work problems to reach optimum performance.

• Monitor, solve, and follow up all Systems’ activities related to security of the port.

• Coordinate with Governmental authorities in all Security External Sector affairs and avoid any related obstacles that may occur. (External Sector Team Leader)

• Ensure the Security of all DPWS facilities 

• Ensure that all external port’s accesses are clear from any obstacles and deal with any challenges in coordination with concerned authorities to keep the normal workflow. (External Sector Team Leader)

• Secure plan for the VIP visits routes. (External Sector Team Leader)

• Secure the transportation methods related to Cruise vessels in coordination with Police & Customs. (External Sector Team Leader)

• Coordinate with the DPWS Neighbours to avoid any conflict with DPWS daily operations. (External Sector Team Leader)

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Qualification and Certificates:

•            Above Intermediate educational degree

Experience and Knowledge:

•            7:10 years of experience in terminal operations 

•            Fully Conversant with Safety Procedures

Skills and Abilities:

•            V. Good communication skills

•            V. Good English language skills

•            V. Good Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

•            Able to work with different mindset and cultures (White and Blue collars)
