Metrology Technician - Jenison Area

• →Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on metrology equipment.
• →Troubleshoot and repair measurement instruments and systems.
• →Develop and implement calibration procedures and schedules.
• →Analyze measurement data and generate calibration reports.
• →Maintain accurate records of calibration activities and equipment status.
• →Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on measurement techniques.
• →Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality procedures.

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, performing calibration and measurement tasks.
• Proficient in the use of various metrology equipment, including CMMs, vision systems, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Experience with calibration software and data management systems.

• Experience with automated measurement systems (e.g., CMM programming and operation).
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) methodologies and software.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.
• Prior experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Calibration Technician (CCT).
