NPI Engineer - Otsego Area

• →Drive the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• →Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and testability of new products.
• →Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment for new product introduction.
• →Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for new product manufacturing issues.
• →Define and execute validation plans (IQ, OQ, PQ) for new processes and equipment.
• →Optimize manufacturing processes for yield, cost, and cycle time during NPI phases.
• →Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flow diagrams.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years experience in NPI engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing process issues.
• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and test methodologies.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD) and PLM systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional team interaction.

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) for manufacturing quality.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers or lead small project teams.
