Purchasing Manager - Hudsonville Area

• →Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and quality.
• →Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for raw materials and components.
• →Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of production materials.

• →Lead and mentor a team of purchasing agents and buyers.
• →Collaborate with production and engineering to forecast material needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of successful negotiation and vendor management
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and procurement software
• Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and implement cost-saving strategies
• C.P.M. or CPSM certification preferred

• Additional certifications or training
