Quality Engineer - Rockford Area

• →Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• →Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• →Perform statistical analysis of process data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• →Lead and participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• →Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product quality from concept to launch.
• →Design and execute experiments to validate product and process changes.
• →Manage and maintain quality documentation, including specifications, procedures, and records.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys).
• Experience with metrology, inspection techniques, and quality assurance tools.

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
• Familiarity with Minitab or other statistical software packages
• Knowledge of CMM programming or other metrology techniques
