Quality Inspector - Zeeland Area

• →Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• →Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
• →Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality data.
• →Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action procedures as needed.
• →Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• →Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout manufacturing.
• →Assist in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and work instructions.

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schecharts, and technical documents
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM)
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Ability to perform visual inspections and identify defects

• Experience with metrology equipment (CMM, optical comparators, etc.)
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQI, CQT)
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC)
