Setup Technician - Rockford Area

• →Prepare and stage equipment and tooling according to production schedules.
• →Perform mechanical and electrical adjustments to machinery for optimal performance.
• →Verify proper setup and functionality through test runs and quality checks.

• →Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• →Document setup parameters and equipment status for record-keeping.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for reviewing and interpreting designs.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• IPC certification (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) for soldering and electronics assembly.
• Prior experience with preventative maintenance (PM) scheduling and execution.
