Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Caledonia Area

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Caledonia that are seeking skilled Shipping & Receiving Clerks. • →Verify and record incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
• →Prepare and package outgoing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and damage prevention.
• →Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• →Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
• →Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory reconciliation.
• →Operate shipping software and create labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
• →Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and report any discrepancies or damages.
• →Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping and receiving area.

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks throughout the shift

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
• Forklift certification (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck).
• Proficient in using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling and shipping regulations (e.g., IATA, DOT).
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles or 5S methodology.
