Shipping & Receiving Lead - Kentwood Area

• →Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• →Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving personnel, fostering a productive work environment.

• 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience, including training, coaching, and directing a small team.
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain processes, and inventory control best practices.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret bills of material, shipping manifests, and other production documentation.

• Experience with hazardous material handling and documentation (HAZMAT).
• Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for inventory management.
• Forklift certification (e.g., Class I, IV, V).
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scales).
