Shipping & Receiving Lead - Paw Paw Area

• →Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• →Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving associates, fostering a productive work environment.
• →Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies through cycle counts and investigations.
• →Coordinate with production, logistics, and customer service to optimize material flow and meet delivery schedules.
• →Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the shipping and receiving department.
• →Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe manner.
• →Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

• 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience, including training, coaching, and performance management of a team.
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management, transaction processing, and report generation.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes, including carrier management, freight optimization, and international shipping regulations.
• Ability to operate various material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) with valid certification.

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Forklift certification and experience with various material handling equipment.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to analyze shipping/receiving data and identify areas for process improvement.
• Experience training and mentoring junior team members.
