Staff Accountant - Delta Township Area

We are partnering with organizations in Delta Township that are seeking Staff Accountants. • →Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
• →Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• →Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
• →Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, material, and overhead variances.
• →Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, verifying accuracy and proper coding.
• →Support external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems)
• Experience with inventory costing and analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Additional certifications or training
