Tool Room Supervisor - Rockford Area

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Rockford that are seeking skilled Tool Room Supervisors. • →Supervise and train tool room personnel on safety procedures and equipment operation.
• →Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tooling and precision measuring equipment.
• →Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• →Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for tooling to minimize downtime.
• →Collaborate with production and engineering departments to design and procure new tooling.
• →Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications for all manufactured and repaired tooling.

• 5+ years experience in a tool room environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven expertise in precision machining, grinding, EDM, and CNC programming.
• Strong understanding of tooling design, fabrication, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
