Weld Technician - Cadillac Area

• →Perform welding, fabrication, and repair on manufacturing equipment.
• →Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding processes.
• →Operate and maintain various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welders.
• →Conduct quality checks on welded components to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• →Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment and related machinery.
• →Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding processes and designs.

• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's degree in Welding Technology or related field preferred.
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing welding, specifically with MIG, TIG, and Stick processes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, welding procedures, and quality control principles.
