Weld Technician - Mattawan Area

• →Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on a variety of materials and thicknesses.
• →Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures.
• →Inspect welded components for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• →Operate and maintain welding equipment, including welders, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
• →Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment and fixtures as needed.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding processes and improve product quality.
• →Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.

• High school diploma or GED
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) or equivalent certification
• 3+ years experience as a Weld Technician in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, weld symbols, and schematics
• Experience with various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, STICK) and materials
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving welding issues

• AWS CWI certification
• Experience with robotic welding systems
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with NDT methods (e.g., UT, MT, PT)
• SolidWorks or other CAD software experience
