Weld Technician - St. Johns Area

• →Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various materials and part geometries.
• →Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine welding processes and specifications.
• →Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, including welders, torches, and positioners.
• →Inspect welds for quality, defects, and adherence to established standards and codes.
• →Troubleshoot welding issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments to equipment.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize welding procedures and improve product quality.
• →Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies related to welding operations.

• High school diploma or GED
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification
• 3+ years experience in a manufacturing welding environment
• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
• Experience with various welding processes (MIG, TIG, STICK)
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on welding equipment

• Additional certifications or training
