Recruiter

• →Actively contribute to a Safety First culture by championing and enforcing all safety-related initiatives.
• →Work with the HR Manager and hiring managers to identify upcoming talent needs and proactively develop sourcing plans.
• →Assist in the development of overall recruitment strategies.
• →Configure and maintain the ATS for all assigned roles.
• →Perform job and task analyses to document job requirements and objectives.
• →Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs across appropriate platforms (job boards, educational institutions, industry associations, etc.).
• →Promote employment brand through social media engagement and responsiveness.
• →Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods based on the role, industry standards, and organizational needs.
• →Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
• →Schedule interviews and oversee preparation of interview questions and materials.
• →Assess applicants’ knowledge, skills, and experience based on role requirements.
• →Assist with the interview process by attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and stakeholders.
• →Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners during the offer process, including salary recommendations and start‑date coordination.
• →Ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment legislation and internal company policies.
• →Provide analytical, well‑documented recruiting reports to the HR team.
• →Build meaningful and influential candidate relationships throughout the selection process.
• →Plan or attend recruitment and networking events to support Sutherland Group talent needs.
• →Promote the company’s reputation as an Employer of Choice.
• →Stay current on recruiting trends and make recommendations to improve recruitment programs.
• →Evaluate recruitment, selection, and onboarding effectiveness through 15/45/75‑day check‑ins.
• →Support the HR team on additional HR projects as needed.
