The Alaska Club is currently hiring Lifeguards. No previous work experience required! We are a state-wide network of fitness clubs offering state-of-the-art facilities for all things fitness.

The role of Lifeguard is a fun and dynamic position that offers a great team environment and flexible work schedule. Our Lifeguards ensure pool safety in the water and on the pool deck by providing direction and assistance in a variety of situations. Join our team and help develop your leadership skills while providing life-saving skills to our community.

This is a great opportunity for students or parents seeking part-time work. Potential opportunity for additional hours as a Swim Instructor.

Requirements

16 years of age or older
Ability to swim free-style / crawl stroke
Red Cross Certification (provided by The Alaska Club)
Weekend availability (preferred)

Supervising patrons in pool during open swim, lap swim, swim lessons, and water aerobics
Supporting fellow Lifeguards and cooperating as a team
Standing and moving on deck and in pool
