CAFE TEAM MEMBER

Rocky Mountain Bagel Co. in Canmore, AB is actively seeking an energetic and positive full-time Cafe Team Member to greet customers as they come in, prepare our bagel sandwiches, and make our specialty drinks. Are you a customer service rockstar? If yes, we want to meet you!

This barista position earns a competitive wage of $18.00 per hour plus tips. As you come through our doors, you'll find a welcoming and friendly small-town atmosphere where people connect over handmade food, coffee, and good music. During the day, our bakers whip up homemade flavors of cream cheeses, fillings for our squares, caramels, icings, cookies, and soups. Every night, they make dozens of our artisan 'Mountain Style' bagels in 9 different flavors, as well as muffins, cinnamon buns, and scones. We support our community by partnering with the finest local producers in the Bow Valley.

In this barista role, you are the first person each customer sees when they come through our doors. You work in both our Canmore locations. You greet them with a smile and a positive attitude. Embracing our company culture, you promptly provide exceptional customer service, quality bagels, and refreshing beverages while maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. The buzz of a busy cafe is nothing you can't handle, and you maintain a calm demeanor during high-volume periods.

You are a true team player and help where you are needed. Whether it's washing and chopping vegetables, sanitizing dishware, or cleaning floors, bathrooms, and surface areas, you work efficiently to keep our store running smoothly. You communicate with supervisors and managers so that the food service team can respond accordingly. At the end of the day, you feel good about the customer service you have provided to our customers!

This customer service position works an 8 hour day between the hours of 5:15 am - 6 pm, Monday to Sunday. Start and end times rotate weekly and may include early mornings, weekends, or holidays.
