Assistant Wellness Manager

The Assistant Wellness Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the operations and management of The Club, a world-class corporate fitness and wellness center with state-of-the-art strength training, cycling studio, yoga garden and personal trainers.  

This hybrid role also works in collaboration with the Operations Manager to implement and champion the Cricket Square Corporate Wellness Plan and the F&B team to support the operations of Juiced @ The Wicket, which serves fresh juices and nutritional smoothies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Club Management

• Support the Wellness Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations, including staff management, scheduling, and facility maintenance.
• Assist in developing and implementing club policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety standards.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with corporate members.
• Collaborate with the Wellness Manager to create and execute marketing strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
• Carryout reception/front desk duties.
• Help organize and coordinate club events, workshops, and special programs to enhance member engagement.
• Assist with tours and member/guest service needs.

Corporate Wellness Programming

• Develop, implement, and evaluate corporate wellness programs with Cricket Square tenants and neighboring businesses.
• Serve as a spokesperson in the community on behalf of the organization and the wellness program.
• Promote a wellness philosophy and program to all campus employees/tenants and work with HR and benefits representatives to reinforce its value.
• Assist in maintaining an extensive network of subject matter expert relationships that will add value to the program.
• Participate in New Hire Orientation by presenting wellness program to new tenants.
• Administer on-site health and wellness challenges (steps, group fitness, and peer fitness and nutrition challenges).
• Monitor and report on effectiveness of wellness initiatives and activities.

F&B Programming

• Develop and manage from end to end a robust healthy meal and juice delivery program within Cricket Square.
• Track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop strategies for increasing sales and profitability.

Collaboration and Teamwork

• Collaborate with other club staff, including personal trainers, group exercise instructors, and front desk personnel, to provide a holistic approach to members' health and wellness.
• Communicate and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners as necessary to support healthy meal and juice delivery program.
• Act as a liaison between members and other club staff, ensuring effective communication and a seamless member experience.
• Work alongside F&B team on menu and delivery service to Cricket Square tenants.

Education/Experience

• 2 years’ experience in administering corporate wellness programs.
• Experience in club management, fitness facility operations, or a similar role is desirable.
• Fitness certifications and/or personal training experience is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a requirement

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with members, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Advanced project management skills.
• Confident public speaker.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment, exercise programs, and wellness practices is beneficial.
