Assistant General Manager - THE BUTCHER SOCIAL CLUB GIBRALTAR

THE BUTCHER SOCIAL CLUB, created by entrepreneur Yossi Eliyahoo of The Entourage Group, is a high-end yet casual burger restaurant. The Butcher Social Club is a living lobby restaurant offering lounge areas, game tables, swing seats, a two-story living green wall, music and artwork. It is a place where guests connect, hang out, meet and certainly have a great night out. Not only burgers but also other great food will be served accompanied with live DJ music every night.

As the Assistant General Manager at THE BUTCHER SOCIAL CLUB, you’ll work closely with our General Manager, supporting the day-to-day operations and helping us maintain our high standards of service. Your role will include assisting with rostering, training and recruitment, as well as providing leadership to the team, ensuring a smooth and efficient service while maintaining the vibrant, dynamic atmosphere we’re known for. This is a key role where you'll contribute to shaping a team that’s passionate, dedicated, and always striving for excellence in hospitality.

  Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant

  Assist in the management of team rosters, ensuring proper staffing levels and timely shifts

  Help recruit, train, and develop new team members

• →

  Lead, inspire, and motivate the team, ensuring high morale and consistent performance

  Maintain communication between kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure seamless service

  Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences, handling any concerns or issues that arise

  Monitor and support the team's adherence to safety, cleanliness, and operational procedures

• Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role in a fast-paced hospitality environment

• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

• Attentiveness and patience for guests

• A passion for excellent customer service and a commitment to high-quality standards

• A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to handle challenges and multitask effectively

• Active listening and effective communication skills

• Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends and public holidays

• Located in or nearby Gibraltar

• Fluent speaking in English, Spanish is a plus
