Mover / Art Handler – Fine Art & Furniture Moving | Full-Time

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading logistics and warehousing organization and we are looking to hire a dependable and experienced Mover for their Dallas, TX location . As a Mover, you will play an important role in ensuring the safe and professional handling, transportation, delivery, and installation of personal belongings, fine art, antiques, and furniture during local and interstate moves. You will work closely with warehouse and dispatch teams to coordinate each move, follow established safety procedures, and provide excellent customer service while taking extra care when handling valuable, delicate, and specialty items. Schedule: Full-Time What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities Complete scheduled collections and deliveries, ensuring all items are transported accurately and delivered on time Keep the assigned vehicle clean, organized, and ready for daily operations Complete and maintain all required paperwork onsite and in the field, including condition reports and trip manifests Safely pack, handle, transport, and install artwork, antiques, and fine furnishings with care and professionalism Support specialized installations and site-specific projects as needed Provide guidance, support, and on-the-job training to junior Art Handlers when required Carefully load and unload Wetzel and Sons vehicles, as well as third-party trucks, ensuring all items are handled securely Pay close attention to detail and maintain high standards of quality and professionalism on every assigned job Submit supervisor-approved timesheets within 24 hours when working directly from client sites and obtain Dispatch Manager approval for any trip or manifest changes before execution What We Are Looking For Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe handling practices Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Professional communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs using equipment Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach throughout the workday Familiarity with dollies, J-bars, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Ability to follow instructions and accurately complete paperwork and condition reports Ability to work under direct supervision and follow established procedures What You Can Expect Competitive Compensation Healthcare Plan Competitive PTO Package 401(k) with company match Opportunities for increased responsibility based on performance and experience If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in handling valuable items with care, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we encourage you to apply and become part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional moving and installation services
