Data Partnerships is the team that identifies, negotiates with, and manages the data providers that power many of the Trade Desk’s key products (i.e. audiences, measurement, identity and more). Responsibilities
~2 min readAs a Senior Manager on the Audience Data Partnerships team, you will lead a critical portfolio of ID‑based data partnerships and programs that support advertiser targeting outcomes. You will translate company and departmental strategy into clear priorities, programs, and execution plans, while operating as a respected partner to cross‑functional stakeholders across Business Development, Client Success, Technical Account Management, and Product. You balance hands‑on partnership management with leadership of complex initiatives that improve how we service and support data partners.
- →Lead and manage a portfolio of third‑party audience data partnerships across key verticals (e.g., agencies, automotive, healthcare), ensuring strong operational execution and partner growth
- →Translate broader Data Partnerships and Audience strategy into clear priorities, roadmaps, and deliverables for your area of responsibility
- →Deliver internal education through training materials, documentation, and presentations to ensure teams are equipped to activate and support data solutions
- →Lead industry and partner research efforts within your domain; synthesize trends, segment enhancements, and market developments into clear “need‑to‑know” guidance for internal teams
- →Own or contribute to monthly financial billing reconciliation for assigned partners, identifying opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and efficiency
- →Manage partnership deliverables including recurring reporting, operational reviews, and ad hoc analyses to support decision‑making
- →Operate comfortably in ambiguity, making informed decisions by considering the broader business context and downstream impacts
- 5+ years of experience in partnership / business development, sales and/or account management with an emphasis on data used for targeting
- Highly collaborative, with strong emotional intelligence and integrity; builds trust‑based, consultative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to articulate company and departmental strategy into actionable plans, programs, and execution priorities
- Demonstrated ability to analyze issues using data and qualitative inputs, weighing tradeoffs to make consistently sound decisions
- Experienced in strategic partner management, including vendor negotiation, joint sales motions, and business development support
- Experience in digital media, preferably advertising technology
- Experience working with account teams and centers of excellence at agency holding companies
- Track record of helping direct reports grow their capabilities, responsibilities and careers

In accordance with various US state laws, the range provided is the Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
