DevOps Engineer (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bangalore to support a software platform that analyzes audio files, text documents, and image-based files (PDF, DOCX, etc.). The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in virtualization, containerization, and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), with a strong foundation in Linux operating systems, computer networking, and modern GitOps practices. Experience working in air-gapped environments will be a significant advantage

Roles & Responsibilities:
● Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying application components
● Set up, configure, and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
● Develop and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments and streamline configuration management
● Implement GitOps workflows to ensure reliable, version-controlled deployments
● Manage virtualized infrastructure for on-premise and hybrid environments
● Monitor system performance, resource usage, and ensure high availability of deployed applications
● Work with developers and QA engineers to optimize build, release, and deployment cycles
● Ensure security, compliance, and scalability of infrastructure within both connected and air-gapped systems
● Troubleshoot and resolve issues in networking, deployment, or runtime environments
● Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and configuration
● Maintain documentation for system architecture, deployment procedures, and operational best practices

Qualifications:
● 3–5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer
● Strong expertise in Linux-based systems and shell scripting
● Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration
● Good understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, VirtualBox, or KVM)
● Strong knowledge of computer networks – TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing, and load balancing
● Experience implementing GitOps using tools like ArgoCD, Flux, or similar
● Experience working in air-gapped or restricted network environments is a strong plus
● Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
● Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
● Understanding of cloud and on-premise hybrid deployment architectures
