Assisting non-DoD beneficiaries with the MHS Modified Payment and Waiver Program.
Receiving mailed or electronically submitted debt relief requests, reviewing to ensure appropriate supporting documentation is in place, and processing these packages within a strict timeline.
Utilizing pre-determined formulas to determine patient's eligibility for debt relief or waiver.
Collaborating with MHS billing offices and insurance providers to resolve billing discrepancies.
Coordinating with the U.S. Treasury Department to determine or affect patient debt status and terms.
Maintaining detailed records of all patient interactions and account statuses.

Required

Applicant MUST be U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret-level clearance.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, communication, working with stakeholders, time management, and teamwork.
Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task/manage multiple priorities.
Education experience at time of application:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting

Preferred

Medical billing experience and insurance experience
Call center experience
Experience supporting and communicating with DoD personnel and senior leadership
Capability of speaking fluent Spanish.
