Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provides acquisition and contracting expertise in the development of contract requirement packages, including Justification and Approval (J&A) documents, Statements of Impact (SOI), acquisition strategies, and acquisition plans.
- →Provides support in developing and revising contract strategies, requirement documentation, and program schedules.
- →Tracks program status; evaluates operational and technical alternatives; and conducts risk assessments.
- →Prepares requests for proposals, contract modifications, administrative changes, and routine correspondence to support timely contracting actions.
- →Reviews solicitations and prepares responses to support contracting execution. Analyzes contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, agency policies, and organizational procedures.
- →Coordinates with Government personnel, contracting offices, and Army acquisition stakeholders to ensure acquisition documentation is complete, accurate, and ready to support critical program milestones.
- →Supports contract review, approval, administration, and closeout activities in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and applicable agency supplements. Maintains contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance and conducts research to support contract audits and identify contracting trends.
- BS or BA degree in related field
- Minimum 12 years related experience
- Knowledge of contracting concepts, FAR, DFAR, and agency supplements
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office products
- Some travel
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
