At Titan Wealth International, we are building a modern, client-focused wealth management business that combines the strength and scale of a fast-growing international group with the personal service our clients value. As part of our continued growth in Jersey, we are looking to appoint an experienced and technically strong Senior Paraplanner to join our Financial Planning team.

Working closely with the Head of Financial Planning, this is a key role that sits at the heart of the advice process. You will be responsible for providing high-quality technical research, report writing and analytical support, helping our advisers deliver exceptional outcomes for clients across Jersey and the UK. You will play an important role in maintaining the quality and integrity of financial advice, ensuring recommendations meet the highest professional and regulatory standards. 

This opportunity is ideal for an established paraplanner who enjoys working on complex financial planning cases, including investment, retirement, tax-efficient planning and trust solutions. Beyond supporting advisers, you will have the opportunity to shape and develop the paraplanning function, contributing to best practice, mentoring colleagues and helping drive continuous improvement within a growing business.

  • Assist the Head of Financial Planning in evaluating the quality of financial advice provided to clients
  • Provide high-quality specialist support and guidance to Financial Advisers, ensuring advice meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the growth and development of the paraplanning function by providing training, coaching and mentoring to new and developing Paraplanners.
  • Manage team workloads, allocating tasks effectively and promoting best practices to ensure the delivery of high quality outputs, as the paraplanning team expands.
  • Write suitability reports, including tax-efficient investment strategies and trust planning, create suitability report templates.
  • Periodically review and update suitability report templates to align with regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for reviewing and completing advice suitability checks on cases.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the regulatory financial sectors of both Jersey and the UK, including sales principles challenges, and best practices.
  • Financial Analysis: Ability to analyse financial data and provide insights for complex cases.
    Report Writing: Proficiency in writing detailed suitability reports, including tax-efficient investment strategies and trust planning.
  • CRM Software Proficiency: Familiarity with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is essential. Should be comfortable navigating CRM systems to manage customer interactions, track inquiries, and maintain accurate records.
  • Data Entry and Management: Proficiency in data entry tools and attention to detail are important. 
    Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards that govern our industry and the ability to ensure that the service they provide complies with these requirements. 
    Presentation Skills: Ability to create and improve presentation materials for client meetings.

  • ESSENTIAl:
     
    •    Level 4 Qualified from a Financial Industry recognized institute.
    •    Experience of Financial Planning in Jersey & the UK

    •    Minimum degree level education (not essential)
