Barnstable Police Department Co-Response Program Clinician Supervisor

Embedded in the Barnstable Police Department, the Co-Response Program Clinical Supervisor will provide overall clinical and operational oversight of the Co-Response Program.

• →Provide Administrative and Clinical support for Co-Response Clinician(s) and law enforcement agencies as needed
• →Participate in the screening and hiring process of Co-Response Clinician(s)
• →Responsible for coordinating, training, and orientation of newly hired Co-Response Clinician(s)
• →Maintains oversight of all programmatic clinical documentation
• →Coordinate and facilitate monthly Co-Response Program Operations Meetings
• →Provide and document regular supervision with Co-Response Clinician(s)

• Ability to establish rapport with consumers, family members, law enforcement and service providers

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or related field
• Current Massachusetts independent practice licensure in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Social Work (LICSW), or Psychology (LP/HSP)
• Must have working knowledge of current version of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
• Four+ years’ experience in crisis work (preferred)
• Strongly prefer a candidate that has direct experience with the Co-Response model in a law enforcement agency
