At the conclusion of your internship, you may be considered for full-time employment, to commence upon successful completion of your degree program.

Who will you work for?

Tradeweb’s Digital Assets team is focused on exploring and developing opportunities at the intersection of traditional capital markets and digital finance. The team works across product, technology, sales, and other areas of the firm to evaluate emerging trends, understand evolving client needs, and develop solutions that support institutional participation in digital asset markets. As the digital asset landscape continues to evolve, the team helps Tradeweb identify where new technologies and market structures can create value for our clients.

The team’s work spans two closely connected areas. Through tokenization, they are developing blockchain-based trading and settlement workflows for traditional financial assets, including government securities and equities. Their focus is on modernizing how these assets trade and settle through faster, more efficient systems that support 24/7 markets. In crypto markets, they are building capabilities that give our clients access to this emerging asset class while helping build the market structure needed for broader institutional participation.

As an intern on Tradeweb’s Digital Assets team, you will work alongside product professionals and gain exposure to the development and growth of our digital asset solutions through market research, product-focused projects, client initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration.

Throughout the summer, you will build an understanding of digital asset market structure, institutional trading workflows, and how new technologies are influencing the evolution of capital markets. You do not need deep technical expertise in blockchain to succeed in this internship. However, you should be genuinely interested in digital finance, curious about cryptocurrencies, tokenization, blockchain and distributed ledger technology, and eager to develop your knowledge through hands-on experience. 

What do you need to succeed?

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in working with data and research

• Genuine interest in digital assets, cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and financial markets

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to learn about emerging technologies and their applications within capital markets

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Ability to take initiative, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute to both individual and team-based projects

The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $22-$25 hourly based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
