Responsibilities

You’ll work alongside talented engineers and cross-functional teams to design and build high-quality software while continuously improving the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems.

You will:

Design and build scalable technology solutions that support Trafilea’s growth and the evolution of Trafilea Engine.
→
Develop new capabilities and continuously improve existing systems, with a strong focus on internal APIs and infrastructure.
→
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code designed for high-scale environments.
→
Identify technical debt, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks, and implement solutions to address them.
→
Improve system performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
→
Contribute to technical planning, architecture discussions, and code reviews, helping raise engineering standards.
→
Ensure strong observability through effective logging, monitoring, alerting, and debugging practices.
→
Document technical solutions clearly to enable effective cross-team collaboration.
→
Help shape the backlog and connect technical decisions and KPIs with product and business priorities.

4+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong Full Stack experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.
→
Strong backend development experience with Node.js / NestJS or comparable technologies.
→
Strong frontend development experience with React / Next.js.
→
Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with solid experience designing and developing REST APIs.
→
Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based environments.
→
Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability patterns, performance optimization, and system reliability.
→
Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
→
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, modern development workflows, and engineering quality practices.
→
Experience with observability and production systems, including monitoring, logging, debugging, and identifying technical debt and performance bottlenecks.
