At Trail Appliances, delivering exceptional customer experience starts with having the right products, pricing, and promotions ready at the right time. As a Merchandising Services Analyst, you will play a key role in making that happen—ensuring the accuracy, speed, and quality of product and promotional data across our website and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

Reporting to the Manager of Merchandising Services, you will own the product backlog, coordinate product setup, and support promotion execution. Your work ensures that our customers, sales teams, and partners have reliable, up-to-date information to support every interaction.

  • Manage and prioritize product setup and updates to ensure timely and accurate launches.
  • Drive product readiness across the website and D365 systems.
  • Set up and maintain product data including attributes, categorization, pricing inputs, services, and fulfillment requirements.
  • Perform merchandising readiness checks to ensure products are complete and customer-ready.
  • Complete D365-specific setup checks to ensure products are configured correctly before flowing into sales, pricing, inventory, and order management processes.
  • Support price agreement workflows through validation, documentation, and administrative coordination.
  • Set up promotions on the website and support promotion configuration in D365.
  • Validate offer details including timelines, eligibility, pricing, messaging, and coupon requirements.
  • Ensure promotions are accurate, clear, and ready for customer engagement.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Purchasing, eCommerce, Marketing, Sales, and Technology teams to remove blockers and ensure smooth product and promotion launches.
  • Communicate clearly to resolve data or system issues efficiently.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot product and promotion setup issues, identifying root causes and escalating when required.
  • Maintain SOPs, QA checklists, and reporting to support consistency and transparency.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve speed to market.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with product, pricing, promotion, and system data.
  • Experience with ecommerce, ERP, PIM, or catalog management systems, Excel (Vlookup/Xlookup).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or the ability to learn quickly).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong QA mindset with the ability to identify and resolve data issues proactively.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • A collaborative, cross-functional approach.
  • Analytical thinking and a continuous improvement mindset.
