Coding & Computer Science Instructor

Tutor Me Education is reshaping how students learn, and we're looking for experienced for experienced Coding & Computer Science Instructors to provide 1:1 and small group virtual instruction to students across the country. • →Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's coding experience, logic building skills, and unique learning profile.
• →Create structured lesson plans that align with student goals, whether they are a young beginner learning foundational logic, a high schooler preparing for AP Comp Sci (A/Principles), or an advanced student building custom software projects.
• →Adapt instruction in real time, using live code-sharing and interactive pair-programming environments to troubleshoot logic errors, explain syntax, and teach architectural concepts.
• →Track student project progress and communicate effectively with families or school partners regarding conceptual mastery, coding milestones, and portfolio development.

• Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, HTML/CSS, Scratch, or SQL.
• Topics including data structures, object-oriented programming (OOP), web development, and algorithmic logic.

• Fully remote — tutor from home on your own computer

Note: Many of our assignments operate in Pacific Time, so availability during PT hours is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience working with students who have education needs
• Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations
• Strong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
