The Intern will support the vision and objectives of the assigned department or area. The Intern may be given selected work assignments to reinforce the learning experience, to assess understanding of assignments, and to provide benefit to the Leadership team.

Responsibilities

Maintains an active role in the management, coordination, and implementation of assigned projects and tasks.
Provides support to various stakeholders on identified assignments.
Identifies a topic of strategic importance, conducts research on the topic, and writes a white paper summarizing findings and proposed course of action.

Develops skill set as outlined by the Competency Evaluation.
Gains deeper understanding of an academic medical center and a multi-specialty faculty practice plan.
Understands and articulates the role and responsibilities of the organization and its departments.
Performs other stated objectives as defined by the student.

Develops relationships with Leadership, Department Chairs, and Executive Administrators.
Solicits input on additional projects and initiatives.

Pay Rate: $15.00

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to work independently and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong communication and observation skills
