The faculty member will teach and develop pharmacy educational materials in one or more of the following areas: physiology, pharmacology, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics, and pharmaceutics. The faculty appointment will be in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy. While the primary focus of this position is education and scholarship, commitment to research activities and service to the College, University, and profession are also expected.
The successful candidate will provide functions in teaching, research/scholarly activities, professional development, academic citizenship, and administrative academic service. Candidates with a focus on student-centered engagement and active learning approaches that emphasize discussions, problem-solving, case studies, and hands-on activities are encouraged to apply. Other educational and/or institutional opportunities may be available depending on faculty members experience and interests. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
