Candidate must pass state abuse registry checks and drug screening, submit to a TB skin test, and have required immunizations or provide proof of immunizations.
Additional education, including CCOT, CDA, AA, or a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.

Kids First is a compassionate, child-centered program dedicated to serving children with special healthcare needs from six weeks to five years old. Within our pediatric day healthcare clinics, children for with developmental delays and other special medical needs receive intensive, nurturing, and individualized early developmental services—setting the foundation for lifelong growth and success.
About the Role: Child Development Technician:
In this hands-on and rewarding role, the Child Development Technician partners closely with the Early Childhood Development Specialist to provide daily care, support, and developmental interventions for children from birth to age five with special medical and developmental needs.

Responsibilities

- →Providing developmentally appropriate behavioral guidance within daily scheduled activities.
- →Follow the direction of the ECDS to provide individualized developmental services in their assigned treatment rooms in a manner that is child-centered, family-focused, and demonstrates evidence-based or best practice.
- →Establishes exciting learning environments for young children and applies the curriculum to address the objectives contained in each child’s treatment plan.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
