Project: Food Street Business

Skills Required:

• Problem Solving: Ability to identify and solve challenges faced by street food vendors that can directly impact on their revenue 

• Field Work: Comfortable on fieldwork, actively engaging with street food vendors to understand their needs and challenges

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Kannada, especially in the context of engaging street food vendors.

• Office Work: Competent in handling office tasks related to online platform facilitation, documentation, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Vendor Onboarding: Identify and onboard eligible street food vendors in designated areas by building rapport and explaining the benefits of the program

• Field Support & Relationship Building: Maintain regular visits to assigned vendors to understand their needs, provide guidance, and build long-term trust.

• Offline Intervention Execution: Implement suitable offline support activities (e.g., branding, Marketing) to help vendors grow their business.

• Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor vendor progress, gather feedback, and submit timely field reports to the program team for review and planning.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in the development sector or a related field is preferable.

• Proficient in Kannada language (verbal).

• Empathetic communication and interpersonal skills, especially in engaging with street food vendors.

• Comfortable working in both field and office environments.

• Possession of a two-wheeler and legal driver's license.

• Located in Bengaluru or willing to relocate to Bengaluru.
