Reporting to the Manager, Data & Analytics and Procurement Systems, this role will connect data from procurement workflow, spend analytics, ERP, Finance, Accounts Payable, and other relevant sources to provide reliable reporting and actionable insights for Procurement leadership and Category Managers. The role will design and maintain dashboards, executive reporting packages, KPI definitions, data processes, and analytical models that help the organization manage performance and make better decisions. The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills in Excel, Power BI, and SQL with an understanding of procurement and the ability to explain complex data clearly to business and executive audiences. Key Responsibilities Procurement Reporting and Executive Insights • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve executive reporting packages used by the VP of Sourcing and Procurement and Procurement leadership to review organizational performance. • Design dashboards and scorecards that provide visibility into spend, sourcing pipeline, savings, cost avoidance, cycle time, adoption, supplier activity, workload, risk, and other Procurement KPIs. • Deliver recurring and ad hoc analysis for leadership, Category Managers, Finance, Accounts Payable, and other stakeholders, translating data into clear insights and recommended actions. • Develop reporting views that support category strategy, supplier prioritization, renewal planning, resource allocation, compliance monitoring, and operational improvement. • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, easy to interpret, and appropriately tailored to the audience and decision being supported. KPI Definition and Performance Management • Partner with Procurement leaders and process owners to define meaningful KPIs, business rules, calculation methods, targets, owners, reporting frequency, and data sources. • Establish and maintain a centralized KPI catalog and reporting documentation so measures are consistently understood and applied across Sourcing & Procurement. • Track performance trends, variances, bottlenecks, and emerging risks and proactively highlight issues that require leadership attention. • Support the development of service-level and operational reporting for intake, sourcing, contracting, purchase orders, invoices, supplier onboarding, savings, and other procurement activities. • Help stakeholders move from descriptive reporting to actionable analytics by identifying root causes, opportunities, and recommended next steps. Data Integration, Quality, and Governance • Connect and reconcile data from procurement workflow orchestration, spend analytics, ERP, Accounts Payable, Finance, contract, supplier, and other relevant systems. • Use SQL, Power BI, Excel, Power Query, and related tools to extract, transform, model, validate, and present data for reliable consumption. • Partner with system owners and other functions to improve access to source data, resolve data quality issues, document field definitions, and close reporting gaps. • Establish repeatable data refresh, validation, reconciliation, and exception-management processes that reduce manual reporting effort and improve confidence in results. • Maintain clear documentation of data lineage, business rules, calculations, assumptions, refresh schedules, and report ownership. • Support appropriate access, confidentiality, controls, and governance for Procurement and financial data. Savings and Value Analytics • Support the Manager, Data & Analytics and Procurement Systems in implementing a centralized process to calculate, track, validate, and report Procurement savings and cost avoidance. • Build reporting that distinguishes P&L savings, contractual savings, cost avoidance, pipeline value, validated value, realized value, and at-risk value. • Partner with Category Managers and Finance to reconcile savings data, validate assumptions and timing, and identify variances between Procurement estimates and Finance-approved results. • Provide dashboards and analysis that show savings performance by category, supplier, initiative, owner, fiscal period, and status. • Improve the transparency, consistency, auditability, and usability of Procurement value reporting. Self-Service Analytics and Stakeholder Enablement • Create intuitive dashboards, templates, and data products that allow Category Managers and Procurement leaders to answer common questions without relying on manual analysis for every request. • Train and support stakeholders in interpreting dashboards, using reports, understanding KPI definitions, and applying insights to business decisions. • Gather feedback from users and use it to improve report design, usability, performance, and relevance. • Promote consistent use of approved data sources and reporting definitions across the Procurement organization. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, procurement analytics, finance analytics, operations analytics, or a related role. • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining dashboards, executive reporting packages, KPI frameworks, and analytical models. • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SQL, including data extraction, transformation, modeling, analysis, and visualization. • Experience connecting and reconciling multiple data sources and translating complex data into clear, actionable business insights. • Experience defining metrics, documenting business rules, implementing repeatable data processes, and improving data quality and reporting reliability. • Strong understanding of data validation, quality controls, data governance, and reporting lifecycle management. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to Procurement leaders, Category Managers, Finance, and other stakeholders. • Strong attention to detail, ownership, prioritization, and ability to manage recurring reporting responsibilities while responding to ad hoc needs. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting a Sourcing & Procurement organization, including spend analytics, sourcing pipeline, contract or renewal reporting, supplier analytics, P2P, or savings reporting. • Experience with procurement workflow orchestration, spend analytics, ERP, Accounts Payable, contract lifecycle, supplier management, or data warehouse tools. • Experience with Power Query, cloud data platforms, or automated report refreshes. • Experience partnering with Finance to calculate, validate, reconcile, and report P&L savings, contractual savings, cost avoidance, or other value metrics. • Experience working in a global organization and supporting stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones. • Power BI, SQL, Tableau, CIPS, APICS, or other relevant certification or training.
