Location: Nicosia, Cyprus Salary: €22,000 – €25,000 per annum An established and respected international tax advisory and corporate services firm is currently seeking to hire an Accountant to join their expanding team in Nicosia. Description The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting tasks for both local and international clients. The ideal applicant will be methodical, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about delivering high-quality results within set timelines. Responsibilities Perform daily bookkeeping and transaction recording for clients. Prepare reconciliations and financial reports as needed. Handle VAT/VIES returns, including registrations and de-registrations. Process payroll and manage related tax and social insurance obligations. Prepare management accounts for clients. Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard. Communicate effectively with managerial staff and clients. Requirements University degree in Accounting or ACCA partially qualified. Candidates with LCCI Higher will also be considered if they have relevant experience in Cyprus accounting and tax. Working knowledge of VAT/VIES and Cyprus tax matters. Familiarity with CaseWare and Esoft will be considered an advantage. Excellent command of Greek and English (spoken and written). Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other Office applications. Outstanding organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
