.

Why You'll Love This Role

This is not a "sit-behind-a-desk and review reports" position.

As our Accounting Supervisor, you'll be a hands-on leader who drives operational excellence, develops talent, improves processes, and helps shape the future of our Finance function. You'll have the opportunity to influence how work gets done, identify smarter ways to operate, and play a vital role in supporting organizational success.

If you're energized by leadership, continuous improvement, and taking ownership of meaningful work, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As the Accounting Supervisor, you'll oversee day-to-day accounting operations while leading and developing members of the Finance team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
  • Enhancing spreadsheets, reporting tools, systems, and financial processes
  • Researching issues, recommending solutions, and driving implementation
  • Supervising, coaching, and developing Finance staff
  • Reviewing accounting activities for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  • Supporting timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Maintaining strong internal controls and documentation practices
  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Supporting Part 32 accounting classifications and Part 64 cost allocation requirements
  • Serving as a trusted partner and key resource to the Finance Director

A Day in the Life

No two days are exactly the same.

You may start your morning helping team members navigate challenges, setting priorities, and ensuring critical deadlines stay on track.

Midday often includes reviewing reconciliations, validating financial information, strengthening controls, and ensuring reports are accurate and decision-ready.

In the afternoon, you'll shift gears into improvement mode. You might redesign a reporting process, simplify a workflow, improve a spreadsheet, or identify a more efficient way to accomplish recurring tasks.

Before the day ends, you'll connect with the Finance Director to discuss priorities, provide updates, identify risks, and recommend solutions that keep the business moving forward.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing:

  • Leadership
  • Technical accounting
  • Process improvement
  • Problem solving
  • Strategic partnership
