Honesty, Integrity and Respect

BS Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required with four years of related work experience. Demonstrated experience in the preparation of financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation required. Experience in the not-for-profit field preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of accounting in compliance with GAAP standards, techniques and principles; ability to apply knowledge of accounting. Demonstrated skill in analyzing and interpreting financial data, demonstrates accuracy in working with large amounts of data. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. Knowledge and skill with computerized accounting software and Microsoft Excel and Word; overall computer competency required. Must be well organized and self-directed with ability to work in a changing environment, be flexible and make decisions while utilizing sound judgment and analytical problem-solving skills. Must be energetic, forward thinking and creative with ability to work well and in cooperation with management/staff at a variety of work sites. Must maintain strict confidentiality regarding staff/individuals' served issues and demonstrate the ability to relate to and accept individuals with disabilities.
