About the Role
~1 min readThe International Recruitment Operations Coordinator is a key member of the Recruitment, Marketing and Engagement team, responsible for managing projects and coordinating operations that support the University’s international student recruitment efforts. Reporting to the International Recruitment Operations Manager, the role focuses on planning and delivering initiatives that strengthen recruitment effectiveness across global markets, while improving systems, processes, and the quality of resources available to staff and partners. Working closely with teams across recruitment, marketing, admissions, and student services, the Coordinator streamlines workflows, enhances collaboration, and maintains key recruitment resources such as the international student website, agent toolkit, and training materials. Through strong organisational capability and a continuous improvement approach, the role enables efficient, consistent, and scalable recruitment practices that contribute to achieving the University’s international goals. This role is based in either our Hobart or Launceston campus – remote work is not available for this position.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of operational and strategic projects that support international student recruitment objectives, including system enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives.
- →Develop, implement, and monitor project plans, timelines, and performance measures to ensure delivery against institutional recruitment priorities and strategic targets.
- →Oversee the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of key recruitment systems, tools, and digital resources to enhance efficiency, data integrity, and user experience.
- →Manage and optimise public-facing recruitment platforms, including the international student website, ensuring content is accurate, current, and aligned with institutional brand and recruitment strategy.
- →Lead the design, development, and governance of global recruitment resources, including agent toolkits, ensuring accessibility, consistency, and effective engagement with international partners.
- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering projects and operational initiatives, with the ability to align outcomes to strategic objectives.
- Experience managing and contributing to digital platforms (e.g. websites, portals), including content governance and user experience considerations.
- Strong capability in developing structured resources such as toolkits, guides, and training materials to support consistent practice and capability uplift.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and coordinate across multiple teams in a complex environment.
- Demonstrated experience analysing and improving systems, workflows, and processes, applying continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $130,943 comprising base salary within the range of $101,821 to $111,917 plus 17% superannuation.
