Ready to shape the future of drafting at Simonds Homes?

We’re looking for a highly proficient BIM Specialist to drive our national transition to Revit, transforming how our drafting teams work through smarter systems, consistent standards and innovative technology. Beyond the transition, you'll be the long-term owner of our BIM environment, keeping our national Masters range consistent, efficient and production-ready.

Based in our modern Collins Square office in Docklands, you’ll take ownership of our Revit environment, templates, standards and content library, while driving the technical transition of our national Masters portfolio from ArchiCAD and AutoCAD to Revit.

As our Revit subject matter expert, you’ll work collaboratively across all departments and regions to build capability, streamline workflows, introduce automation and embed best-practice BIM standards. This is an opportunity to make a significant technical impact on how we design, document and deliver homes nationally.

You’re a Revit expert with a passion for technology, continuous improvement and helping teams embrace new ways of working. You have the technical capability to build robust BIM environments and the communication skills to drive change across diverse teams.

You’ll bring:

• Advanced Revit expertise, with at least 5 years' Revit experience in residential documentation.
• BIM implementation experience, including template development, standards, content libraries, model QA/QC and implementation across multiple teams.
• A track record of driving change, ideally having supported or delivered a CAD-to-Revit transition or similar transformation.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in automation, emerging technologies and smarter ways of working.
• Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to train, support and influence teams nationally.
• Residential construction knowledge, ideally within a volume or project home builder environment.

You’re equally comfortable getting hands-on with complex Revit models as you are sharing your expertise, supporting others and driving technical improvements across the business.
