Position: Director of Facilities

Department: Plant Maintenance

Main Location: Cass City & Marlette (Will travel to all Aspire locations)

Hours: Full Time. Days. Full Benefits.

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Director of Facilities. We’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.

REQUIREMENTS:

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 or more years of relevant field experience
• Associate degree + 7 or more years of relevant field experience
• No degree + 7 or more years of relevant field experience and preferred certification(s)

Preferred Certifications:

• CFM – Certified Facility Manager
• CHFM – Certified Healthcare Facility Manager
• CSP – Certified Safety Professional
• CHSP – Certified Healthcare Safety Professional

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to effectively multi-task
• Ability to think clearly and calmly in stressful situations
• Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules to provide coordination across multiple campuses and shifts
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Office

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Director of Facilities plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operations of all the facilities of Aspire Rural Health System in accordance with established policies, procedures and applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The Director of Facilities provides leadership and oversight to managers and other leadership Aspire departments. The primary purpose of the position is to develop and administer programs to maintain the buildings and grounds, and equipment in accordance with applicable state and local regulations and administrative guidelines. May serve as a liaison between administrators and contractors, engineers, and equipment suppliers. To ensure that an effective preventative maintenance program is established, maintained documented and managed. Other duties as assigned. The Director of Facilities provides strategic guidance and manages the overall delivery of facility services, policies, and programs for Aspire Rural Health System.
